Michael Dudley, originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, is a freelance multi-instrumentalist with a strong passion for composition and arranging. After an introduction to the trumpet at the age of 11, Michael began to acquire an interest in playing other instruments and styles of music. He soon began learning French horn, and delved into jazz and lead trumpet playing, all while spending spare time in high school arranging film scores for brass quintet.

Since studying Commercial Music Production at the University of Cincinnati, Michael has participated in many ensembles and concerts. These include the Cincinnati Contemporary Jazz Orchestra, Cincinnati’s Blue Wisp Big Band, the South Florida Jazz Orchestra, Brian Lynch Big Band, and the acclaimed John Daversa Big Band, with which he recorded on the multi-GRAMMY® award winning album, American Dreamers: Voices of Hope, Music of Freedom (Featuring DACA artists). He has shared the stage with the likes of John Williams, Quincy Jones, Take 6, Arturo Sandoval, Steve Miller, and many other notable artists across the music world.

Michael is both a graduate and current student at the University of Miami Frost School of Music. There, he is pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts in Jazz Trumpet Performance.​
