Larysa Pavelek
Music Theory Teaching Assistant
Larysa Pavelek is currently an undergraduate at the University of Miami Frost School of Music, pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree in French Horn Performance and studying with renowned horn soloist, Richard Todd. Larysa is also a member of the Stamps Woodwind Quintet. This distinguished group of students will advance together throughout their undergraduate studies at the Frost School of Music. As part of their experience, these students will receive career guidance and take part in artist-building activities. During their studies, they will be attending special master classes, obtaining high-level mentoring, recording music, and playing and touring for key performance opportunities. Recently, the Stamps Woodwind Quintet participated in the Imani Winds Chamber Music Festival hosted at the Juilliard School of Music in New York City, New York. In February 2013, the quintet traveled to Marseille, France and competed in the International Tomasi Woodwind Quintet Competition.
Outside of her music activities, Larysa enjoys hiking, reading, running, watching sporting events, and spending time with friends and family.
