Eva Dines

Cello Instructor

EvaDinesEva Dines is a cellist from Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to transferring to the University of Miami, she attended Georgia State University where she studied under Martha Gerschefski and was a recipient of the Gerschefski/Reider scholarship.

Eva was previously a cello teacher for the Atlanta Suzuki Talent Development Program and the Frost Music Outreach Program. She has attended courses by Melissa Kraut on the Pre-Twinkle and Book 1 Suzuki Method. Eva has spent two summers at the rigorous Meadowmount School of Music, where she studied under Melissa Kraut. She has also attended the New York University Summer Music Intensive, where she studied under Marion Feldman. Eva has performed in master classes for Brandt Fredriksen, the Ying Wang Beijing Chamber Ensemble, Wesley Baldwin, Andrew Mark and Mihai Tetel.

Eva is pursuing her Bachelor of Music degree in Instrumental Performance at the University of Miami Frost School of Music with the help of a full-merit scholarship. At the University, she is also minoring in Public Relations. When Eva isn’t busy practicing, she enjoys spending time in her garden.
