Alexandria DeWalt

Alexandria DeWalt is a senior at the University of Miami Frost School of Music where she is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Music and Jazz-Voice and a minor in Political Science. Although she is primarily a vocalist and flutist, Alexandria has also played the piano since the age of five.
Alexandria is a graduate of The High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, Texas. There, she played flute and tenor saxophone in both the classical and jazz setting. Over the years, she has had the honor of singing and playing at the Grammys, Essence Festival, Jazz Education Network Conference, Newport Jazz Festival, and Carnegie Hall. Moreover, Alexandria has performed with artists such as Solange, Al Jarreau, Kirk Whalum, Ellis Marsalis, Jason Moran, New York Voices, and many others.
