

Madeline Neely – Violin & Viola Instructor

Madeline Neely is an active musician in both chamber and orchestral ensembles. Hailing from Virginia, she began her music studies on piano and graduated her tastes to the viola by age 10. Former member of Strings of the West Quartet and Principal Viola of the Midland-Odessa Symphony and Chorale, Ms. Neely presently resides in Boca Raton, Florida and is the concert and events manager at Lynn University Conservatory of Music. Performing regularly with various orchestras in the area, Ms. Neely keeps active in the classical music scene. She is a former Aspen Music Festival orchestral fellow. Holding a bachelor’s of music degree from the Eastman School of Music and a master’s degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music, her notable professors include: John Graham, Jeffrey Irvine, Mark Jackobs, Peter Slowik, Cavani Quartet, Ying Quartet and Ralph Fielding. In addition to being faculty in the CGCC Community Arts Program in Miami, she is also string faculty of Orvieto Musica-Intensive Strings, a summer chamber music festival in Orvieto, Italy. Ms. Neely spends her leisure time learning and practicing yoga.
