ALL-STAR Jazz Ensemble Application

Prior to applying, please understand the following. The ALL-STAR Jazz Ensemble is designed to set the standard for a professionally-minded band of young jazz musicians. Being "ALL-STAR", in this case, denotes that those involved not only have a good understanding of jazz musicianship, but they also grasp the professional skills of being on time to all activities (i.e., rehearsals, performances, workshops) and planning other outside extra-curricular activities around this. We understand that there are, on occasion, school activities that are mandatory. This is an acceptable excuse for missing a rehearsal. With this in mind and to help in the managing of multiple schedules, ALL-STARS are also expected from the onset to be proactive at communicating, to their appropriate teachers at school and to us, ALL rehearsal and performance schedules.
